Copy a video address, not a profile
Downloading a TikTok video on Android should not require an extra app, a browser extension or your social-media password. ClipHarbor accepts a supported public video URL, asks the source for an available MP4 that is not labeled as watermarked, and provides a temporary file link. Watermark-free availability still depends on the source. The tool does not paint over text or remove branding already embedded in frames. Start with your own content or a video you have permission to download.
The address needs to point to an individual public post, in the form tiktok.com/@creator/video/123. Many share actions produce a short link instead. Open that link in a browser and copy the full destination after it resolves. A link to an account, hashtag, live stream or private post will not work with the current downloader. Confirm the original video is still accessible before spending time changing Android permissions. A browser that can view a page is not proof that a separate server can retrieve the same media.
Use the form in your browser
Open ClipHarbor in a browser tab and paste the full video URL into the input. The Paste link button uses the Clipboard API. Browser permissions, embedded app browsers and device policies may block that action. You can always tap and hold inside the field and use the browser's normal Paste command. There is no reason to give a downloader your TikTok login or allow it to read your messages. The only content input the form requires is the public video address.
Choose Best available or a height cap, then tap Find video. Best available selects an existing combined audio-and-video MP4 source, not a newly enhanced export. The server may take up to two minutes and allows only limited concurrent work. Leave the tab available while it processes. Repeated taps can create additional work without making the first request faster. If you see a capacity or source error, wait before retrying and check the full-link requirement first.
Download and locate the MP4
When the result appears, look at the reported source height and tap Download video. Chrome may ask you to confirm the download or show progress in its download interface. The file is delivered as an MP4 attachment. A prepared result is not the same as a completed transfer to your device. Wait until the browser indicates that the download has finished before deleting another copy, closing an important workflow or attempting to upload the file somewhere else.
Open Chrome's Downloads menu, or use the Files app and look for Downloads. Android devices and file-manager apps differ, so the visible app name or storage location may vary. Google documents the browser download menu for managing transfers and the Files app for finding saved files. If you chose a custom location, check that folder instead. Searching for the MP4 filename can help when the media gallery has not yet indexed it. A video can exist in storage even when it is not immediately visible in Photos.
Understand Files versus a gallery
A file manager shows where a file is stored; a gallery groups media it recognizes. That distinction matters when you think a successful download has disappeared. Open the MP4 directly from the browser's completed downloads first. If it plays there, the transfer worked. Then use the file manager's normal move or share action if you want a different folder or another app to receive it. Do not assume every Android gallery watches every storage location.
Before granting a new app access to your entire media library, ask whether you actually need that app. A standard MP4 can often be handled by the phone's existing tools. If playback is incompatible, keep the file unchanged while you investigate. Renaming an extension does not change the codec inside the container. Repeatedly downloading the same source will not add missing audio or turn a format into another one. The related quality guide explains what MP4 describes and what it does not promise.
Deal with storage and network interruptions
ClipHarbor rejects files above 100 MiB, but you still need enough free space for any accepted download. The browser or operating system may temporarily reserve additional storage during the transfer. Check the download list for a specific failure rather than assuming the website removed the file. Switching between mobile data and Wi-Fi during a transfer can interrupt it. If your connection is metered, consider the file size and your data allowance before downloading multiple copies.
Prepared download links expire after ten minutes. A file already saved to your phone remains yours to manage; the expiry applies to the server link. If a transfer is interrupted after the link expires, submit the original public URL again to prepare another file. Keep a record of that original address instead of treating the temporary URL as permanent storage. A smaller quality choice may reduce the transfer only if a suitable smaller source actually exists. The backend does not re-encode every video on demand.
Check watermark and reuse expectations
Preview the finished file and listen to its audio. Check its opening, ending and corners for marks before deciding whether it fits your purpose. ClipHarbor excludes sources the extractor labels as watermarked, but missing metadata is not a guarantee about every frame. Creator logos, captions and previously edited marks may remain. Downloading without a platform overlay does not transfer ownership, remove attribution requirements or authorize reposting someone else's work.
If something fails, use Report a problem or contact support with the browser, stage and error message. Do not send passwords, account recovery details or private links. Our troubleshooting guide separates link validation, processing and final transfer errors so you can identify the right next step. For routine use, the simplest workflow is a full public URL, one processing request, one completed MP4 and a local folder you can find again. Keep your permission record with any video you plan to reuse.
