The purpose of a watermark-free downloader
ClipHarbor's main purpose is to help you save a TikTok video without a platform watermark when a suitable source is available. That purpose is different from claiming that every video can be cleaned or that any visible mark can be erased. The downloader requests existing media; it is not a video-editing service. It does not paint over moving text, crop corners, blur a logo or reconstruct pixels hidden behind an overlay. This distinction matters before you decide whether the result suits your project.
Start with a video you own or have permission to download. A watermark-free file does not transfer copyright or cancel conditions set by a creator. If your goal is to reuse someone else's video, get permission for that use as well as permission to save a copy. Keep source and permission information with the file. Technical access to a public post and authorization to publish it again are separate questions, regardless of which downloader, browser or device you use.
Platform overlays and baked-in marks
A source may offer a playback version and a separately branded download version. When the extractor identifies a format as watermarked, ClipHarbor excludes it from selection. That helps avoid a known branded source rather than treating it as an equivalent fallback. However, labels are metadata about a source, not a visual analysis. A format with no watermark label can still contain a creator's logo, captions, a graphic from an editing tool or a mark copied from an earlier export.
A baked-in mark is part of the actual frames. It may have been present before the video reached TikTok. Requesting a different delivery URL cannot necessarily remove it. Imagine a creator adds their name during editing and then uploads the finished clip: that name belongs to the picture in every available source. ClipHarbor does not distinguish such a graphic from the rest of the composition by inspecting pixels. For the creator, the clean project export or camera original may be the most appropriate way to obtain an unmarked master.
What the backend actually checks
The service uses yt-dlp to discover sources for a supported public video URL. It requests a combined audio-and-video MP4 and filters out formats whose extractor note explicitly contains the watermarked label. Your chosen height cap, the file-size limit and the processing deadline also apply. If no suitable source remains, a request can fail. The service does not knowingly substitute an explicitly watermarked source while presenting it as a guaranteed clean file.
The absence of a label is still limited information. Source behavior and extractor metadata can change, and restrictions can differ by video or server location. For that reason the site places the availability qualification beside the form instead of hiding it in legal text. You should preview the output before relying on it. The public source may be inaccessible, a post may have been removed, or the only eligible version may not match the quality you hoped to retrieve.
Preview the output instead of trusting a slogan
After downloading, inspect the opening and ending as well as the corners and moving areas of the clip. Listen to the audio and confirm the full video was saved. A watermark may move or appear only briefly, and a creator's own label may be intentionally part of the work. Checking one thumbnail is not a reliable substitute for playing the file. ClipHarbor reports source quality, but a quality number does not describe which overlays are visible.
If you find a mark, do not assume changing from 720p to Best available will remove it. A different source may differ in resolution while containing the same edited frames. Similarly, a larger file does not prove it is an original or a clean master. If you are the creator, compare against your project export. If someone else created the material, ask them for an authorized source or an agreed version rather than treating watermark removal as a way around their attribution requirements.
Keep claims and quality separate
Watermark-free availability, dimensions and permission are three independent things. A small video may be unmarked; a high-resolution one may contain a logo. A file you can technically download may still be something you cannot republish. ClipHarbor does not use an HD label as evidence that a watermark is absent or that reuse is permitted. It also does not restore lost detail by upscaling a source to meet a marketing promise.
The numbered quality choices are height caps, while Best available asks for the best suitable existing MP4. Portrait dimensions can make a reported height look unfamiliar, such as 1280 pixels for a 720-wide portrait source. Read the quality guide if you need to compare formats. Use the copyright and permission guide for reuse questions. Keeping these topics separate helps you make a practical decision without relying on the assumption that a single download button settles every issue.
Know the service boundaries
ClipHarbor accepts full public video URLs, not profiles, short share links, private posts or arbitrary uploaded files. It rejects files over 100 MiB, allows up to two minutes of processing and provides a temporary link that expires after ten minutes. There is no MP3 option, sign-up gate or advertising task that unlocks a different watermark result. The current product is deliberately a focused public-video downloader, not a general-purpose editor or an unlimited media archive.
If a result does not meet the stated behavior, use Report a problem and describe the issue. Include the browser, selected quality and stage involved, without passwords or private information. The temporary file link is not a permanent support archive, so explain what you observed rather than relying on it remaining available. The most useful promise is a transparent workflow: request a suitable source, know what has and has not been checked, and verify the file before any authorized reuse.

Is watermark-free downloading the main purpose?
Yes. ClipHarbor requests a suitable MP4 source not labeled as watermarked. Availability depends on the source.
Will it erase a logo baked into the frames?
No. ClipHarbor does not edit, crop or reconstruct the video to remove embedded marks.
Does no watermark mean I can repost it?
No. Obtain permission for your intended use and follow any attribution or other conditions.
